"G" Week The opening of the Gingerbread Gift Shop!

For the beginning of "G" week we created a gift shop! The kids worked hard to "price" all of the items to be "sold", making sacks for the store, and organizing all the merchandise. Needless to say our grand opening was hugely successful! Look at that line! I promise we didn't "pose" for this- they couldn't wait to go shopping and it was quite entertaining watching them shop, write receipts, and run the cash register. Such fun hands on learning!!

Homecoming Picnic 2016

Everyone was so excited before their buddies arrived for the picnic! 

Decorating pumpkins was one of the fun activities.

The lines were long... but it was worth the wait to jump in all the different "jumpy houses"

Homecoming 2016 was a huge success! It was so fun watching the students with their buddies. I hope they all had a great time!

APPLESAUCE!

Everyone loved using the apple-peeler-corer-slicer! 

After the apples were peeled and sliced everyone had to help cut them into smaller pieces. 

Ask your child how many "shakes" of cinnamon and sugar they added. 

Our applesauce turned out delicious. My apologies that I didn't get pictures of us enjoying it. It was yummy!! 

We are having so much fun! 

We started "L" week learning how to "build" the letter. The students are learning that all letters are formed with Big Lines, Little Lines, Big Curves and/or Little Curves. After they built their L we practiced in their Handwriting Without Tears book. They are doing amazing! 

On Friday we tasted apples. We voted for our favorite and "graphed" the results. Check out the graph by our lockers to see which apple variety "won". 

The kids have LOVED playing in the sensory table. They have been working at making apple pies!
